If you haven't voted yet, today's the day. More than 41,000 people already voted early in Lucas County, and the county is preparing for a potentially busy Election Day. We suggest going early.

On Toledo's ballot, Issue 16 is a levy that city leaders say could help avoid cuts to police and fire services. Pools and youth programs are part of it, too.

  • levy: about $25 million a year for four years
  • Toledo gas average: $4.11 a gallon
  • U.S. gas average: $4.12 a gallon

Gas is down, too. Toledo's average price fell 30 cents in a week. WTVG's weekly Gas Price Patrol asks whether the relief lasts past Election Day after the biggest weekly drop in months.
