- ➤ The Issue Box Theater production, She Kills Monsters, premieres today at the University of Toledo’s Ritter Planetarium at 7:30 p.m. with additional shows on Sept 20 at 7:30 p.m. and Sept 21 at 2:30 p.m.—the drama comedy blends a Dungeons and Dragons adventure with a touching coming-of-age story of grief and love—directed by Riley Runnells in her debut effort. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Toledo completed the Delaware/Horseshoe and Clarke Islands restoration on Sept 15 with a ribbon cutting at Walbridge Park, marking the largest habitat project in Maumee River history. The project improved water quality by filtering sediments and providing homes for birds and fish, and the team will continue dredging and invasive species control over the next year + planting native species.
