- ➤ Students, alumni, and staff at Lourdes University in Sylvania are preparing 180 casseroles (the 10th annual Fill the Freezer event) to support the Toledo Labre Project. The 24-hour marathon began at 3 p.m. Friday and will end at 3 p.m. today. WTVG
- ➤ Emergency warming centers open in Toledo this weekend and on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The overnight center at St. Paul’s Methodist Church runs from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Saturday through Monday while daytime support is available at St. Paul’s Community Center and Cherry Street Mission, which operates 24 hours.
