  • State-sponsored air tests (Nov. 26 to 28) at Eastwood schools confirmed that radon levels remain below mitigation thresholds, indicating the buildings are safe for occupants.  The Blade
  • New data shows Ohio ranks near the bottom in health value (44th), raising concerns over low health care spending. Local advocates urge reforms that could build a healthier future for our community.  The Blade

  • Jason Candle, Toledo's all-time wins leader, left to coach at UConn + his departure ends a long era in local football.  The Blade
  • Maumee Valley beat the South Carolina squad 68 to 62 in a City Legends event. MVP Kee'ran Stokes scored 19 points while teammate Nasir Wilson added 17 (their strong play helped secure the win).  The Blade
