- ➤ Tajiana Poellnitz is a self-taught chef and UToledo junior studying Asian Studies who plans to start a nonprofit culinary readiness program to help less-fortunate communities by offering food education and resources for sustainable futures. ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost said the Shine a Light on Dumpers program—designed to stop illegal dumping in neighborhoods—won an international award from the International Association of Chiefs of Police. - ➤ Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Lt. Governor Jim Tressel announced $6 million to fund driver training scholarships for over 10,000 new drivers under 21.
