- ➤ Lakota Local Schools will be on the Nov. 4 ballot for a Master Facilities Plan as the district asks for more help with school improvements. A levy from 2013, meant to last 5 years, has run for 12 and is expected to continue until 2028 — the plan cuts the number of buildings from 21 to 16, adds four new elementary schools, and will complete renovations by the 2028-2029 school year. - ➤ Perrysburg Schools officials said the district will ask voters in November to approve a 5-year, 7.83 mill levy expected to bring in $11 million per year, which would cost a $100,000 home owner about $274.05 annually. They warned that if it fails the school will cut extracurriculars, sports and academic programs such as reading, language and technology next year — after a failed vote last November already caused a $13.5 million annual loss.
