ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A water main broke at a central Toledo intersection today and water was seen spurting from the ground into sewers.  WTOL
  • Two people died when a semi collided with a vehicle on US Highway 20 in Fulton Co.—the crash occurred September 3.  WTVG

CRIME NEWS

  • After neighbors complained about an abandoned west Toledo home where dogs were left for months, police removed the dogs from the property last week—prompting further investigation.  WTOL
  • Police are searching west Toledo for two brothers—an 11-year-old last seen Aug. 30 and a 13-year-old missing since Aug. 15—from their home on the 1700 block of Milburn Avenue and ask anyone with information to call 419-255-1111.  WTOL
  • Ronald Merrill, 52, of Toledo was arrested over the weekend for allegedly crashing into an apartment while heavily intoxicated—causing severe damage.  WTVG

CULTURE NEWS

  • The Toledo Center for Live Arts—a renovated Masonic Temple offering flexible spaces for dance, music, and theater—opens today as local arts groups prepare to use the venue. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for this morning—followed by a gala on Friday and a public open house Saturday.  WTVG
