  • Chandler Fitzgerald said that the Greater Toledo Classic tournament will run Friday through Sunday and offer many golf events that bring benefits to the area.  WTOL
  • Ronald McDonald House and the families it serves are set to benefit from the Greater Toledo Classic, which raises funds for children’s charities and has raised over $14 million in 40 years. The event will support local children and families — a result of strong community effort.  WTOL

ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A 41-year-old Toledo motorcyclist, Zachary Lambert, died when an 18-year-old man from Haskins driving a pick-up truck crashed into his bike at the intersection of Mechanic and Anthony Wayne Trail in Waterville just before midnight Thursday — the intersection was closed for about two hours before reopening — and the crash remains under investigation.  WTVG
