CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Marcus Gaines, a 34-year-old former postal worker in Toledo, pleaded guilty in federal court on Thursday to a drug trafficking scheme that sent packages with powder cocaine and heroin laced with fentanyl along his route—he was paid $500 for each delivery and will face sentencing on Oct. 30. - ➤ Rocky Ridge Development LLC began mining on 30 acres near Byrne Rd and Airport Highway in South Toledo even though the land is not zoned for industrial use, and residents say the dust and noise have made life harder.
