ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A 49-year-old pedestrian from New York state was hit by a pickup truck that changed lanes on Monroe Street in west Toledo on Monday afternoon and sustained serious internal injuries (he is in critical but stable condition). WTOL
- ➤ A pedestrian was fatally struck by a tow truck in a downtown crash on July 7th as officers investigated the incident—further details are pending. WTVG
CRIME NEWS
- ➤ From Friday to Sunday, six people aged 17 to late 30s were killed in violent incidents in Toledo + police are investigating the details. WTOL
- ➤ Toledo police continue investigating the unsolved murder of Everado Cheno—detectives review evidence and seek any new leads in the case. WTVG
- ➤ Toledo officials asked the public for tips on unsolved felony crimes after six homicides and one reported shooting death occurred over the Independence Day weekend — police said officers worked around the clock to solve crimes and Crime Stoppers offered a reward of up to $5,000 for tips leading to an arrest. WTVG
- ➤ Toledo police responded to the home at 359 Sumner Street on July 6 and found 59-year-old Anthony Brown dead from gunshot wounds to his chest - no suspects have been named. WTVG
