- ➤ Toledo police are investigating a shooting on Lincolnshire Blvd.—the incident took place near Secor and Central on June 29. WTVG
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Ohio Department of Natural Resources reported that in 2024 Lake Erie led the Fish Ohio program with 3,710 trophy fish submissions from 17 species—highlighting the strong fishing opportunities in the area. - ➤ Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and mental health leaders unveiled a new specialty license plate that raises awareness for the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline. The plate is available now at deputy registrar offices and online (BMV) and will send $25 from each sale to support suicide prevention initiatives (a measure to help local communities during behavioral health crises).
