- ➤ Toledo Library has broken ground on its new Washington branch, which will span 20,000 square feet — nearly 50% larger than the current facility. WTOL
- ➤ Four northwest Ohio airports received over $1.4 million in federal awards to upgrade runways and taxi lanes—Sandusky County Regional Airport got $387,600 for snow removal equipment, Kelleys Island Airport received $361,361 for an environmental assessment on runway safety improvements, Erie-Ottawa International Airport was awarded $572,302 for runway and taxiway design work, and Defiance Memorial Airport received $112,646 for taxi lane repairs, as announced Thursday by Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur.
