Good morning, Toledo.

At the DEWESoft USA camp in Whitehouse, 12 students learned career skills in engineering, science and technology through hands-on go-kart testing over three days.

The camp provided practical lessons in sensor data analysis — a clear window into testing engineering careers.

Ohio Department of Higher Education announced that nine colleges and universities renewed their Collegiate Purple Star designation for military-connected students and that University of Findlay earned the honor for the first time; the designations were first granted in May 2023.

The Village of Whitehouse locked in a 10.171 cent per kWh electric rate, effective from the August meter reading for 10 months, to offer savings compared to local rates.

Council also approved $175,000 for park improvements and announced Safety Town next week at Whitehouse Primary School (details pending).
