- ➤ After more than a year of fundraising, community organizers behind the 2025 Hope for the Hungry drop off event plan to use collected donations to help feed those in need in Toledo—officials say the effort will create a more inclusive and accessible community. - ➤ Residents in a small east Toledo community say repeated missed trash pickups have left streets with 20 to 25 cans and strong odors. Dave Zeller said Republic Services blamed parked vehicles for the delays (the company began collecting trash after a media prompt) and residents remain frustrated with the broken promises. WTVG
- ➤ Registration for a child nomination in Charles E. Boyk Law’s 17th annual Bikes for Kids event ends tomorrow, June 15—nominations must be submitted by then to enter a free bike giveaway. WTOL
