- ➤ Toledo police arrested Amod Dawson Jr. for shooting and killing 37-year-old Robert Boone on the 900 block of Phillips Avenue just after 2 a.m. today—Boone died at the hospital and Dawson is scheduled to appear in court on June 2 at 9 a.m. WTOL
- ➤ Authorities said a person was hospitalized after a shooting early Saturday morning in Toledo (investigators are working to learn more). WTVG

- ➤ At Howard Marsh Metropark, black-necked stilts have made their home in the restored wetland as they return each year to nest and guard their territory—once even chasing a bald eagle away.
