GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Eligible Ohioans aged 60 and older can now apply for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program online to receive $50 for fresh produce, herbs, and honey. Applicants who sign up with an email will begin using their digital benefits on May 15 and those in certain counties must apply via Buckeye Hills Regional Council—applications close on September 30. - ➤ The Ohio Housing Finance Agency announced today that Matt Sutter is the new senior director of housing programs and Tony Palmer is the new chief legal counsel — Sutter worked with Toledo agencies while Palmer served as legal counsel at the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce — their appointments are expected to boost affordable housing programs.
