- ➤ A UToledo study (from the Lake Erie Center) found that invasive goldfish affected local lakes yesterday; researchers said no freshwater ecosystem was immune to their spread. The University of Toledo
- ➤ Nature’s Nursery has treated over 930 animals already this year—a 25% increase from last year—and staff have adjusted schedules to cope with the growing number of wildlife needing care. The center urges residents to keep pets indoors during nesting season to help protect baby animals. WTVG
