- ➤ The Josh Project and SafeSplash Swim School will host a free Water Safety Day event on May 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. Francis de Sales School at 2323 W. - ➤ The Hancock County Sheriff’s Office said a fiber cut by TDS Telecom has left Arcadia and Vanlue residents without landline voice calls, including 911, while cell service remains available. - ➤ State officials ordered Fulton, Defiance and Wood counties to use paper pollbooks in May after an electronic device did not meet security standards + local boards say voters may wait a few extra minutes at check-in and will return to electronic systems by November. WTVG
