- ➤ An SUV crashed into a brick apartment building on Lewis Avenue and Cribb Street in west Toledo just before 6 p.m. Saturday—forcing one resident to be displaced and prompting the Red Cross to assist. WTOL

- ➤ Toledo's Culture Clash Records rebounded after a challenging year when Record Store Day delivered its strongest sales yet—owners Tim and Lizzie Friedman now plan live music events through the summer with strong community support. WTOL
- ➤ Reggie's Bike Shop, known for selling and fixing BMX bikes, announced on social media Friday that it will close at the end of April, drawing strong community support. The shop has long served local riders and its closure marks a significant change for many Toledo residents. WTOL

- ➤ Patrons at a Toledo restaurant stopped an alleged attempted murder Friday evening after confronting the suspect, TPD said. WTVG
- ➤ On Friday, mourners gathered in Toledo to honor teen Kei’Mani Latigue, known for her kindness and love of basketball, and many pledged to seek justice for her tragic murder. WTVG
- ➤ Toledo police arrested a woman on animal cruelty charges on April 11 after finding a dead pit bull puppy and emaciated dogs in an east Toledo home during her eviction (she was released on a $1,500 bond and will face court on April 14 at 9 a.m.). WTOL
- ➤ Patrons at a Toledo restaurant stopped an attempted murder on Friday evening by tackling a man with a loaded gun that did not fire because its safety was on—TPD later booked 42 year old Matthew Exton into Lucas Co. Corrections Center on charges including felonious assault—and police said he had been served two alcoholic beverages at the restaurant. WTVG
