- ➤ A survivor-led conference is set for Wednesday, April 8 at UToledo’s Heath and Human Services Building, where those with lived experiences will guide community members, professionals, and students on better supporting survivors of violence, exploitation, and abuse. Tickets cost $10 for students and $99 for professionals with proceeds supporting the presenters’ goals. WTVG

- ➤ Robertsims Indoor Golf, a new facility in downtown Neapolis, opens today at 10 a.m. offering over 2,000 simulated courses with advanced camera feedback provided by Clarity Golf. - ➤ Toledo gas prices dropped 13 cents last week, averaging $3.68 per gallon Sunday — a decrease after a month-long rise but still 31 cents above last month’s average and 57 cents above last year’s. WTOL

- ➤ UToledo marks Financial Literacy Month by offering free events to build money skills. - ➤ After Lourdes University closed due to financial issues, the University of Toledo set up a teach-out agreement so that all students in good standing automatically transfer into similar programs (with credits transferring) and Marietta College offered a secure transfer pathway. - ➤ University of Toledo biochemistry student Victoria Ho earned the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship after being chosen from over 5,000 candidates for her research on safer pain management options for elders.
