- ➤ Ohio voters will decide on Issue 2 on the May ballot, which would let the state borrow up to $2.5 billion in bonds over the next decade to fund local roads, bridges, water and sewer projects. If approved, the bonds will be repaid over 30 years at a total cost of about $3.84 billion—if not, the State Capital Improvement Program will end on July 1. Toledo Free Press
- ➤ Officials are hosting an open house in Oak Harbor today—residents can ask questions about the gas service disruption as restoration efforts continue. WTVG
- ➤ On Friday, the Ohio Department of Commerce’s Division of Unclaimed Funds announced a new online system that lets Ohioans search for lost money from about $4.8 billion in unclaimed funds that come from bank accounts, uncashed checks, stocks, utility deposits, and wages. The system streamlines document uploads and speeds up fraud detection so more claimants may receive payouts faster. WTOL
- ➤ TC Energy expects repairs on the natural gas transmission line to be completed today evening so that Columbia Gas will begin reconnecting service. Officials will host an open house in Oak Harbor today to allow residents to ask questions about the gas service disruption. WTVG
