  • Glass Gardens by jess (owned by Jessica Trumbull) helps Toledo residents build terrariums that act as mini ecosystems by repurposing vintage bottles and other items into living art. The shop offers hands-on classes and private events at its studio on Central Avenue several days a week.  WTVG
  • A new coffee and wine shop named Last Drop will open in Ostrich Towne this spring (927 N. Summit St.) in north Toledo and will serve coffee, wine and pastries while offering day work spaces and live evening entertainment for a mature audience.  WTOL

  • Glass City Improv holds weekly improv classes on Wednesday evenings and monthly live shows at Studio A at the Valentine Theatre (410 Adams St.), where community members learn comedy and build confidence through spontaneous performance.  Toledo City Paper

  • Dr. Rupali Chandar, a professor at the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, was named Distinguished University Professor at Toledo on Mar. 27. The honor recognizes her contributions to science education.  The University of Toledo
