EDUCATION NEWS

  • Toledo Public Schools is weighing potential budget cuts as it faces a projected $68 million shortfall and a committee said it will consider strong public support to guide its transformation plan.  The Blade
  • Washington Local Schools faces thousands in extra fuel costs as diesel prices rose over a dollar per gallon, straining its budget for school buses and vehicles and prompting worries that upcoming fuel purchases will further challenge finances.  WTVG
  • A satellite designed by UT students will launch into space on Sunday aboard a SpaceX Transporter rocket. The project, developed by students and faculty at the University of Toledo, is one of six scheduled for the trip.  The Blade
