- ➤ The Ability Center will expand its campus to provide additional resources for local residents. The change will meet growing community needs while continuing a long tradition of support. WTOL
- ➤ Thirteen residents (seven adults and six children) lost nearly all their belongings when a fire destroyed The Pines apartment complex in west Toledo. The affected families are now turning to the community for help. WTOL

- ➤ The University of Toledo Department of Art will host two lectures on HIV/AIDS at Haigh Auditorium (MOTA campus). The first lecture with Dr. Duggan and Susan Carter is set for March 26 at 1:30 p.m., and the second event on April 16 will include a film screening by Holly Hey. The University of Toledo
- ➤ The Debbie Franceus Memorial Aviation Foundation has awarded 31 scholarships to women aspiring to fly over the past 2.5 years and will offer 20 additional scholarships in 2026. WTOL
- ➤ A free six-week educational program for seniors begins April 15 at the Perrysburg Senior Center with sessions on Wednesdays from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. until May 20 (registration by calling 419-874-0847; participants get refreshments and a gift card upon completion). WTVG
- ➤ The Perrysburg Schools Board is expected to vote Tuesday night to appoint Michael J. Acomb as superintendent with his contract starting August 1; he will soon begin a listening tour (he previously served at Solon City Schools) to meet staff, students, and community members. WTVG
- ➤ Anthony Wayne High School will add AP Computer Science A and Generals Athletic Performance next school year after the Anthony Wayne Board of Education approved the courses on March 10. The new options give students hands-on learning in coding and athletic training. Toledo Free Press
