  • Metroparks Toledo approved a $2.7M amendment on Wednesday to move a new riverfront park project in the Vistula neighborhood into detailed planning; the project will develop a park along Water Street between Olive and Magnolia streets (part of the larger Glass City Riverwalk plan).  WTOL

  • First Brands Group, LLC filed a WARN notice stating its Toledo Molding and Die facility (1441 N. Maule Road) is set to permanently close, affecting 407 employees and putting over 400 jobs at risk in the Tiffin area.  WTVG

  • Oak Harbor senior Austin Sorg earned two swim titles at Friday's OHSAA Division II meet in Canton while Lathrop and Kunsman also stood on the podium. The competition showcased the top high school swimmers in a strong state performance.  The Blade
