  • The Sandbox for Kids is a Toledo business offering children and families a safe, low-dust sandbox for sensory play and learning every day; 50 tons of sand were delivered by two semis to create the space, which also hosts birthday parties.  WTVG

  • Oregon City Schools will hold a special board meeting on Monday to discuss district finances, while Toledo Public Schools will review potential layoffs Tuesday amid concerns over limited funding from Columbus.  WTVG
  • Ohio is using the Science of Reading + a research-based approach that focuses on phonics, vocabulary and sounding out words to help students improve their reading skills. Funded since 2023, the program aims to boost literacy in classrooms.  WTVG
