GAPP Artist Talk: Layo Bright

About this event

Join us for a free Artist Talk by Layo Bright, Sara Jane DeHoff Guest Artist Pavilion Project (GAPP) Artist in Residence, and learn about her fascinating journey as an artist and her residency at the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Studio. Bright’s unique story is reflected in her sculptural practice, where she explores themes of identity, feminism, advocacy, migration and more.

Bright will discuss her inspirations and artistic practice, her exploration of glass and mixed media in sculpture, and the experiments she is pursuing as a GAPP Resident in collaboration with TMA’s Glass Studio team.
