Mercy Health's mobile mammography van will visit 17 stops in northwest Ohio and one in southeast Michigan this September to offer 3D mammogram screenings for patients age 40 and older by appointment only. Appointments include stops at Toledo's Pointe Shoreland Family Medicine on Sept. 3 and Perfecting Church on Sept. 6 — sites where certified radiologists double-check results using a computer-aided detection system to help catch cancer early.

More than 672 students from Fallen Timbers Middle School attended a house reveal party at Anthony Wayne High School on August 22 where they were grouped into houses called Fettari, Tigalo, Modero and Setega to build teamwork—fostering connections between fifth and sixth graders. Teachers and staff joined in with music and games as the school celebrated its new house system.
